Trial days and email activation

You get 1 trial day the moment you sign up, plus 7 more once you open the activation link in your inbox — 8 in total.

The activation email never arrived

Check your spam folder first. If it is still missing, go to Settings → Account · Email activation and press Resend. One captcha later, another copy goes out.

That captcha is not there to stop bots — it is there to stop double-clicks. The mail takes a few seconds to arrive, nothing on screen moves during those seconds, and without the captcha you would send yourself four identical copies.

One account can send at most 3 emails per 10 minutes, counting the one sent automatically at sign-up. Hitting that limit means waiting out the window, not that something is wrong with your account.

What an unactivated account cannot do

Nothing is restricted. An unactivated account can sign in and use every module its access period covers — the only difference is that the period is 7 days shorter. That is why the interface writes "not activated" in grey rather than red.
